Lol, i was just searching for my submissions and i found this.

Its actually better than i expected, to tell you the truth.
Although its lucky you chose the sfx you did, because it makes up for fairly poor movements, bg, etc etc.

Although overall it was actually QUITE GOOD.
And you know what that means, coming from me.

You might find this rating "harsh", but at the end of the day, it wasnt fluid, the backgrounds werent the best, and overall it wasnt brilliant. I applaud you for attempting to put a new twist on the koopalings, lakitu and bowser though, it was inventive.

Just work on the actual animating, because you're on the right track, you just need to work at it.

Also, use a smaller brush size perhaps? Because it just ruins it, really.
Also it wouldve been nice (seeings as you kept actual changing of the drawings very minimal, for there to be a little more use of shading.
As well as this I think you should try some different camera angles and try for more dynamic fight scenes. (Also, try and choreograph the fight instead of just letting it run loose, if you know what I mean).
I know Im not the best animator myself, but I can still tell what needs improvement.
I hope you read this and instead of being insulted, you actually try and improve based on this...

This is really good, especially as you havent actually been doing flash for that long.
I like the fact that after about the first 45 seconds it was all fighting. Almost. But you know what I mean, it was action packed. I just wish you had had more time to finish it instead of putting "to be continued".

This looks more like a beginner tutorial to me.
Oh well, it still looked like a nice tutorial and you explained everything well.
Animation wasnt that good though, and you could've elaborated a bit more.

I like stick anims, but this was nothing to new or interesting ( why i gave it a 2)
the sticks were too short and fat for any complex movements, and physics were weird.

Although I commend you for making it as long as it was.

It wasnt very good.
It was quite choppy. Add more frames inbetween.
Effects were bad. Try with some better colours, and instead of doing electricit randomly, make sure that it follows the exact pattern that you want it to.
Backgrounds could have been better.
The preloader wasnt very good at all. A normal one wouldve been fine, but it looked like you'd stoled it and really messed with it.

Sorry, but this doesnt deserve a "great score".

And Im not just saying this because I hate sticks. Im a stick animator too.
